XSA has another glad new to share. We were able to collect an amount of Rs 18,288/- for helping out Aditya Kumar .
As its been a couple of months since we had initiated this fund collection and Nisha's case came in between most of you must be thinking who Aditya is allae?
Adi, a 4 Year old boy, affected by a form of Blood Cancer needs a Bone Marrow transplant (BMT) .As he doesn't have any siblings so they had to do transplant from an unrelated donor- which is unfortunately, not available in India. They identified Children's Hospital Pittsburgh for his treatment. The cost quoted by the hospital is in the range of about Rs. 155 lacs.
We transfered the money just before Adi was moved to the hospital in US for the transplant. They reached Pitts on Nov 21st

Latest Update is that Adi has been admitted at Children's Hospital Pittsburgh. The Bone Marrow Transplant is kept on hold as his disease progressed and is not yet in remission. BMT can be done only when he gets to remission. Due to these complications that have developed the above cost is escalating
Right now Adi needs lots of prayers.
