XSA has been referred with a new case for help
for a plus two student Vishnu Maheswari
who is suffering from multiple sclerosis.
Details :
Her mother, Sumathi is an Anganwadi teacher (Alwaye) , her father is
retired and this is for their youngest child. The elder two are married
off.
Multiple sclerosis, affects the spine. Vishnu Maheswari is a trained
classical dancer and is extremely passionate about it, but now she can barely
walk. The treatment is four injections a month, which comes to 30K. As of
now , they are done with what they had kept aside for her(around 1 lakh) and
really struggling to gather money for next month's injection. Dr. Jacob
George (Kottayam Medical College), says that the treatment might have to
continue for up to 4 years.
XSA
would make a decision on continued support or one time support based on the
contributions received.
Financial Requirement: 30 K per month for 4 years.
