Once again, it is the time of the year for the alumni to come together for the biggest fund raising of the year for scholarships. Last year, we gave scholarships worth of Rs. 5,25,000/- to 21 students. This year the number of awardees will be 24. We will require a sum of Rs. 6,00,000/- for the scholarships. Once again, the highest fund raising by XSA till date. Once again, with your support, we are confident of raising this amount without much of a difficulty
To repeat, the salient points on the scholarship are:
- The students who were offered scholarship last year would continue to get the same in the current year (subject to them passing all the exams till date)
- The new students would be selected among the 2nd year
- The quantum of the scholarship is Rs 25,000/- for each student (24 Nos)
- The scholarship would be given annually till completion of course
- The guidelines for student selection would be determined between XSA and the college
